Researcher

As an art educator, I have immersed myself in both primary and secondary research to gain a deeper understanding of student development, effective teaching methodologies, and the diverse experiences of learners. This research has allowed me to critically examine how students engage with the creative process and how different teaching approaches impact their holistic development. Through this exploration, I am dedicated to translating key insights from academic literature into practical strategies that enhance my teaching practice, fostering a more engaging and supportive environment for students in my classroom. My commitment to continuous learning and adaptation ensures that I am always refining my approach to meet the evolving needs of my students.

Digital Media

Digital media and AI in education are becoming increasingly prevalent. I have explored the benefits, policies and wider impacts on education.

Design Research

As part of my undergraduate studies in Graphic Design Communication, I wrote this thesis on authentic brand activism. My interest in this research stemmed from my design practice, which has been continually drawn towards both branding and activism. This paper critically analyses Barbie, a brand that provokes controversial opinions on whether or not their activism is authentic.
